Introducing VICTREX® T-Series Products
for Enhanced Performance at Elevated Temperatures

Greenville, SC - (May 2, 2006) - Victrex has introduced its new VICTREX®
T-Series, a range of proprietary blended products based on VICTREX® PEEK
polymer and Celazole® polybenzimidazole (PBI). These innovative new products
are designed to be melt processable and capable of performing in the most
demanding high temperature applications requiring superior strength, wear,
hardness, improved creep and thermal properties.

Victrex has signed a licensee agreement with PBI Performance Products,
Inc. (Charlotte, NC), the manufacturer of Celazole PBI and original
developer of the T-Series technology, to manufacturer, sell, and market
these products under the name VICTREX T-Series worldwide, excluding Japan.
Victrex will develop market applications and provide sales and technical
support for the injection moldable thermoplastic.

Initially comprised of three proprietary grades, VICTREX TU-60, TL-60,
and TF-60V, the new VICTREX T-Series products expand the current mechanical
and tribological capability of existing VICTREX PEEK grades with enhanced
stiffness, wear, hardness, and temperature performance that is made possible
with the addition of the Celazole PBI. VICTREX T-Series products are an
ideal replacement for metals, and non-melt processable high temperature
plastics.

"We are excited with the opportunity to work with Victrex and to
leverage their sales, marketing and technical resources to bring this
product to the market in a very meaningful way," says Bill Lawson, PBI
Performance Products¹ Managing Director & COO. "The product line has many
performance advantages over the existing materials used in the
petrochemical, industrial and semiconductor markets."

"VICTREX T-Series products open up new market and application
opportunities for Victrex and our customers. They provide a significant
performance increase in terms of mechanical properties and wear
characteristics at elevated temperatures that give our customers an option
above and beyond our current offerings," according to Mark Maddern, Global
Product Manager at Victrex.

As a result, the new VICTREX T-Series products will provide another high
value solution for engineers in the semiconductors, electronic, industrial,
and transport industries that are looking for improved temperature, wear,
and strength properties from a melt processable material.
