- The results of this form are stored in the file '_private/inforeq.txt'
in your web. You can edit this file using FrontPage, or view and print
it from any web browser.
- This is the basic feedback form provided by Microsoft FrontPage,
with four feedback categories to choose from (suggest)
web site
company
products
service
- All of the contact information is optional. Your visitors will not
be prompted for more information if they leave any of the cells blank.
There are more detailed scripts available on our web site, it you
wish to customize your feedback form. Point your browser to:
...
here you will find a vast assortment of scripts and programs that
will help you with your custom feedback form.
- You can also create your own custom feedback form using the add
page function, follow this trail:
...on the file menu, click FILE / NEW / PAGE or WEB / click on the
PAGE TEMPLATES link on the right side of your screen, and click on
the FORM PAGE WIZARD. (you will not be able to save a new form under
the name "feedback.htm" unless you first close this page and delete
it from your web, move it to a sub folder, or rename it, to keep it
for later reference).
This will walk you through creating your own form. Remember that if
you want to customize this form page, and this requires moving, cutting
or pasting, you MUST keep your form components (the comments box,
category drop down menu, and contact information) within your form
properties table. You can see the dashed outline around the form information
below, this is the form properties table. If you move anything outside
this table, then the form script will not be able to access it, and
you will get that annoying :java error(:) when the page loads, or
when you try to submit the information.
